Mapping the Heart

When we align and connect our hearts and minds and connect with others, we awaken the higher mental, emotional and spiritual capacities that frequently lie dormant. - HeartMath Institute

Mapping the Heart is a four-part interdisciplinary journey currently in creation.

Through powerful performance, screendance, workshops and immersive events, this project maps the unseen emotional landscapes that shape and guide us.

Rooted in groundbreaking research on heart-brain coherence as well as Eastern philosophy, energy practice, and consciousness studies, this work is an inquiry into healing and opening the collective energy of the human heart.

Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi — the practice of mending broken pottery with gold to reveal the beauty in imperfection — Mapping the Heart explores the heart's profound capacity to hold joy, sorrow, and transformative truths.

Each of the four segments invites a new perspective. It encourages audiences to connect, heal, and rediscover what it truly means to feel whole.

Part I, Broken, was released in 2024, featuring music by electronic pioneer composer Steve Roach.

Part II will premiere in Fall 2025 at venues including
