Dancer Ryan Albee moved to New York City in 2014 to begin building his career as a dancer, choreographer, and dance instructor. While training at The Joffrey Ballet School, Ryan was able to perform works created and set by some of the top choreographers including the choreographer of Broadway's Rent: Marlies Yearsby, as well as Murray Louis, Tyler Gilstrap, Nathan Trice, and Rena Butler. Ryan has worked with many dance companies, performing throughout New York City and New Jersey. He has performed with Nijawwon Matthews XY Dance Project, LaneCoArts, Arch Contemporary Ballet and Candice Franklins Jazz Ain’t Dead. His powerful and unique choreography has been presented at the 14th Street Y Theater Series and MMAC Theater in New York City.
